  1. Front yard residential established landscapes only.

  2. Entries must demonstrate and will be judged upon:
    • Attractive use of water-wise landscaping
    • Water use efficiency
    • Good maintenance practices

  3. The decisions of the judges are final.

  4. Entry images will become the property of the sponsoring water agencies and may be used for future marketing activities. Winning entries agree that their landscapes may be featured in a “Western Water-wise Landscape Tour” or denoted as such through property signage.

  5. Overall water efficiency will be evaluated. The competition committee reserves the right not to issue an award for any category that receives insufficient entries.

  6. Water agency employees within the contest boundaries, their families, or sponsors are not eligible to enter.

  7. All landscape entries must be located within the existing general service area of either Western Municipal Water District, Eastern Municipal Water District, Inland Empire Utilities Agency, or San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District.  If you pay your water bill to one of the following agencies, you are eligible to enter the contest:
